To extend their digital presence and engage readers in new ways, LAPA approached us to design and build a dedicated blog platform — a space where authors, readers, and literary enthusiasts could connect and share ideas.

We created blog.lapa.co.za as an extension of the main LAPA brand, ensuring consistent visual identity while giving the blog its own fresh, editorial feel. The site was built on the Umbraco CMS, providing LAPA’s content team with an intuitive and powerful platform for managing articles, author features, and news updates with ease.

The layout was designed to prioritise readability and engagement — with clean typography, responsive design, and clear categorisation to help visitors explore the rich world of Afrikaans literature. Performance, SEO, and accessibility were key considerations throughout development, ensuring a fast, search-friendly, and inclusive experience for all readers.
